The Quarter horse is the most popular breed in the United States and that is for a very good reason! The versatile breed can turn its hoof to a multitude of disciplines, from racing, endurance and rodeos, to dressage, reining and jumping. These compact little horses are strong and willing, have a comfortable gait and average between 14 – 16hh. They have been the breed of choice for use as working cow horses for decades because of their strong haunches and ability to cover short distances quickly. Descending from a mixture of Arabian, Spanish and English bred horses, the breed generally have calm, gentle and steady personalities making them the perfect equines for families or beginners, however they are also responsive, fast learning and ideal for the more established rider.

You can’t fail to fall in love with the Quarter Horse and they provide the perfect partner for an adventure in the Rocky Mountains of Montana.
